  Very comprehensive and easy to use. Novice may find at first it to be a little over-whelming with the amount of info it provides.

  Cons

  Can take some time to effectively scan your system. Reports are browser based but you do not need to be connected to the internet to receive the reports so that is a plus.

  Pros

  gives a complete computer profile invaluable when formatting my hard drive gives me useful hard ware information easy to use

  none that I can see

  Summary

  This is one of the most useful programs I have ever encountered. I run Belarc every 3 months or so and print the results so that I have a current profile of my computer. It has saved me more than once when I have had to format a hard drive.

  Pros

  I displays all OEM keys that are present on the system. It even displayed keys I had no idea existed! As an IT project manager, I would highly recommend this app for IT professionals that need to capture needed system data.

  Gave me so much more info than I expected. Download, install and collection of info took very little time.

  Summary

  This program really gives you so much more info than sysinfo32 or other ways you can obtain info out of your computer for the effort it takes.

  Pros

  Gives a detailed listing of all downloaded programs, update history, missing patches and updates, and the condition of your computer as far as virus vulnerabilities.

  Cons

  The Windows security update Belarc said I needed was not applicable and would not download. The message I received was "this program is not needed for your computer."

  Summary

  As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out. The Updated pages from the manufacturers and Microsoft do a better job of scanning programs for out of date versions.

  In my top 3 utility programs since I began using computers 1. Glary Utilities 2. Malwarebyte's Antimalware 3. Belarc Advisor Don't know your product key to activate windows on new computer from same disk? Belarc will show it to you. Want more ram but don't know what kind? Belarc will show it to you. This is the best information retiever you're going to find most likely.

  Presents a very complete picture of your computer. Using on 4 different computers- 3 Windows versions- and it details each and shows what might be missing.

  Cons

  It does take a long time to load and gather info.

  Very organized. Complete with explanations of what is OK, what is not so OK and generally how to make fixes.

  Cons

  I think this formal analysis is more directed to a commercial business user and many comments and "fixes" may not be applicable to a casual residential user. Perhaps the specific areas that a Casual user should address could be emphasized in the analysis output?

  Can't print summary report from screen or save to a file. Adding this feature would make it a 5-star program.

  Provides a full list of all installed programs and additional info on computer system. Extremely helpful! Great to have all this info in one location.
