• Intrusive, overbearing

  Pros

  Allows Mac users to connect to corporate proprietary Fortigate and Fortinet VPNs

  Cons

  Tries to be more than a VPN client, unnecessarily inserts itself into the OS start up utilities, includes unwanted, unneeded and over-protective web filtering and constantly interrupts you with notifications that it has updated itself. On one of my 2 Macs it inexplicably and infuriatingly drops the connection every few minutes. Looks and behaves like a Windows port not something intended for Mac.

  Summary

  Wish I did not need this to connect to my work. I would gladly dump it.

  Pros

  It might be good at blocking viruses, but there's no way to know

  Cons

  The parental controls seem to have been preset by some right-wing Christian extremist and I was unable to change the settings. I mean, come on — "alternative beliefs" (as beneficial and innocuous as meditation) are harmful to children? Hello? Many good and uplifting sites were blocked and it's a pain to send a message for each one. If I remember correctly, guns and war games were allowed! Now that's something I would have been more inclined to block.
